That's not a historical average; it's what the app's own pricing formula generates for a trip of that distance, shown to you before any driver has bid.
Being straight with you: airport trips are new enough on Intra Cab that there isn't yet a track record of real completed airport fares to report instead. The reference estimate is the honest number to go by until there's enough trip history to say what drivers are actually bidding on this specific route — which is also exactly why getting an early offer matters: the first few real airport trips are what builds that history.
Timing it right
Post your request with enough lead time before you need to leave — the drive itself is 45 minutes to over an hour depending on traffic on the East Bank corridor, on top of however long it takes a nearby driver to see your request and bid. For an early-morning flight, posting the night before isn't possible (requests are for now or scheduled within the app's booking window), but posting as early as the app allows for your flight time gives a driver the best chance to see it and respond.
